  Brothers told to pack an "Armagedon survival bag."...bid gossip in Aust!

  so my mum excitedly calls and tells me how the brothers are now told to pack a survival emergency bag, so the tribulation is coming!!!

  talk about clutching at straws.

  shes packed her bible of course and the some non essential stuff like food...he he.

  Judicial Meeting

  so here you are...sitting with a couple of elders at judicial meeting, and you're asked the following question:.

  "do you still believe that the fds is the channel that jehovah is using"?.

  now is it possible to answer 'no' without being df, or how would you answer that question?.

  Now is it possible to answer 'no' without being DF, or how would you answer that question?

  DF/Shunning

  i know this will never happen....but if the wtbs were to discontinue the practice of shunning, do you think their would be a mass exodus of those currently in the borg.

  additionally, do you think some folks would still shun folks depiste it no longer being required by the borg?\.

  so i've heard of cases where individuals got df'd for writing to the wtbs...but are their cases where individuals have written and actually got a reply to their questions without any repercussions?.

  Two JW's just came by

  so as i'm here browsing jwn while in bed, i hear the door knock at my apartment door!.

  i was thinking it was my co-worker who lives opposite of me because i have no family nor friends where i'm currently living (job relocation for 3 months).

  one a couple of occasions, persons have knocked, but they realize they're at the wrong door.. so i was in my speedos and opened the door and i see two sisters at the door!!!.

  i recently came to the realization that the organization is corrupt and is false.

  my story is similar to many i think.

  i was raised in the religion, pioneered and served as an elder for a number of years.

  Has anyone listened to Reggae / Rastafarian religious music?

  i am sure that none of you here are rastafarians and neither am i. i have just noticed however that their religious music is soo freaking moving!.

  i guess after years of kingdom melodies that had absolutely no form of feeling in them and were pretty much some guy plucking piano keys anything would be better.

  but i literally sit here listening to some of these and almost break down crying.. .

  I'm a huge fan of reggae music...it goes deep! I have a collection of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and others...this stuff helps you to relax your mind...I have rastafarian friends and they're quite cool.....very laidback and easy going...cool people to hang around, not all of them smoke marijuana as depicted.

  hello folks.... so after a year of fading (some ups & downs), reading, researching and even praying....i'm starting to think i'm agnostic.... there are a couple things i'm having a hard time understanding:.

  Hello folks...

  So after a year of fading (some ups & downs), reading, researching and even praying....I'm starting to think I'm agnostic...

  There are a couple things I'm having a hard time understanding:

  1. What's the real purpose of life and creation? So we're created to live a perfect life, two clowns over 6000 years ago made a mistake and everyone is paying for it, although no fault of our own?

  2. Proving God's right to rule while millions die each year due to war, crime, naturual disasters ect...that proves God's right to rule, how?

  3. Prayers never seem to be answered...I prayed until I almost sweat blood when I was awakened that my parents & loved ones would become awaken about the cult....instead my mom has become more extreme in her practices....going an entire day without eating a meal to "preach" garbage.

  4. Why would a powerful being allow humans to use religion as a means of enslaving people?

  5. Why is protection given to some people while others receive none? Do you guys recall the bus incident in Miami, Florida where a couple of the friends died while going to a convention....yet if someone had survived, it was God's protection?

  There's so much stuff why I just don't buy anymore...it took a while even after being awaken to come to this realization...
